Are you concerned about your loved one’s memory?

Maybe they repeat themselves or have become more forgetful over the years. Normally the concern is, ‘is this a normal part of getting older or is there something more worrying going on?’. You will be more likely to notice it than your loved one.

Take your loved one to the doctor if they:

1. Struggle to recall information that has been recently said to them
2. Find it difficult to do tasks that are familiar to them e.g. forgetting a regular driving/ walking route
3. Find it difficult to recall words
4. Forget what day/ time it is
5. Change their behaviour sometimes, either withdrawn and quiet or outbursts of anger and aggression

If you notice any of the above, it is important to book an appointment with doctor.

All our parent/ grandparent checks include a full, detailed memory assessment.
